January 2019 Meeting Notes
The meeting was called to order by President Ritchie Farrell. The minutes were read with the addition of Associate Membership price was voted to increase to $20. Treasurer Brenda Lagasse reported the checking and savings.
The Board of Directors Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 22, at 7:00 pm at Lance’s office.
We received the contract for JC Rodeo Company for 2019. Lance Lagasse made a motion to hire JC Rodeo Company for our rodeo for $8,500 sanctioned as CPRA, KPRA, and possibly Mid States. The motion was seconded by Brenda Lagasse and the motion carried.
Aggie Moore had dates to host an EKHA Show. Brenda Lagasse made a motion to hold the EKHA Show Saturday and Sunday, July 27-28, and including the Friday before. Donna Barleen seconded and the motion passed.
The Open Horse Show will be Sunday, July 7, and the 4-H Horse Show will be Friday morning, July 12.
