December 2021 Meeting Notes
December 4, 2021 Minutes of Annual Meeting
President Ritchie Farrell called the meeting to order at 7:00pm at the American Legion following the social hour and dinner.
Old Business- The dirt has been moved to the covered arena and needs to be worked in.
The materials for the lighting project are in and Jason is expecting to start work this month.
Josh and Eric volunteered to help move the tarps. Ritchie has plywood for the crow’s nest window.
New Business:
Lance talked with Jimmy Crowthers and our rodeo will be July 9th and 9th.
New Business:
Sign up sheets for committees were passed out.
The Activities Committee will meet in January. Other Committee meeting dates will be set at the January meeting.
There was good interest in organizing a Horsemanship Day Camp.
Awards were presented with Taelor Hardesty winning the 1D Buckle. Emma Erickson won the 2D Buckle, Jesse Voss won the 3D Buckle, and Shae Weber won the 4D Buckle. Laura Hansen won the Adult Buckle, with Lauren Wheeler and Chloe Weber winning gift certificates for second and third places.
Door prizes were drawn from the list of members renewing for 2022.
Election of officers commenced. The current officers were re-elected by unanimous ballot.

An election was held to determine the two open Board of Directors positions, with Josh Erickson and Charlie Hansen being elected.
The meeting adjourned.
T-shirts from the Buckle series were passed out after the meeting.
