July 2015 Meeting Notes

The meeting was called to order at 8:35 pm by President Aggie Moore. The meeting minutes were read and approved. The treasurer reported checking and savings.

The Board of Directors discussed moving the hand washing sink and freezer from the old 4-H concession stand.

Old Business:

The FFA are going to put up the panels for stalls on Monday, August 10th. We need timers and people at the gates for the High School Rodeo August 22nd-23rd.

Sunday, August 16th is a Roping and Barrels. NCK Saddle Club Drill Team are going to run the concession stand. It was asked if we wanted to push the cattle for the Roping. It wasn’t decided.

New Business:

Work night on Monday, July 20th at 7:00 pm to prepare for the Rodeo. Volunteers for the Rodeo need to pick up armbands on Monday night, so the gate people know they are volunteers.

Eric Voss noticed when replacing burnt bulbs, that there were wiring issues with several of the bulbs. It was decided to get a bid and go from there with the wiring.

Brenda Lagasse and Erin Urban brought up having the Club purchase a tent to keep the sun off of people working an entry desk or gate. Earl Hale suggested planting a tree instead, in memory of Jeremiah Specht. He suggested that we should talk to the fair board and see if they would allow it.

The meeting adjourned at 9:10 pm.
