October 2016 Meeting Notes
The meeting was called order by Vice President Terry Greer. The minutes were read and approved. Brenda Lagasse read the checking and savings.
New Business
Kansas Junior Rodeo Association (KJRA) wants to come back and Lance Lagasse is planning on the week before the High School Rodeo. Donna Barleen made a motion to host the KJRA and High School Rodeo next year. Brenda seconded it and the motion passed.
Work night is scheduled for Thursday, October 13, at 6:00 pm. We need to prepare the south concession stand for winter, drain the gray water tank, blow out the water line, check the north concession stand, and pick up the hoses.

10/16 Youth Buckle Series
10/29 Halloween Play Day
10/30 Youth Buckle Series
Brenda made a motion to allow $150 to buy prizes for the Youth Buckle Series. The motion passed (I missed who seconded it).
Halloween Play Day
Games (egg and spoon, musical mounts, etc.) and candy prizes (Costume Contest: first place, $15; second place, $10; and third place, $5).
We need to get a key for the old bathroom at the fairgrounds.
The cord for the timers didn’t work, so a new one will be ordered from the company.
Terry made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ritchie Farrell seconded and the motion passed.
